Workshop: Embracing Our Cyclic Rhythm

When I first felt the nudge to start a monthly circle for women, I joked - with my husband, who wondered what we’d be doing - about a group of women sitting around talking about periods. Little did I know there was a prophetic element to this, especially as I couldn’t imagine doing it myself!!!!

You see, I never really felt very comfortable talking about things like that. Not really. I still felt some of the embarrassment and shame from my younger years. I never fully embraced that aspect of womanhood - I didn’t find the transition from childhood to being a woman all that easy or comfortable either - I was an ‘early bloomer’ and it sucked!

This is something I’ve been working to heal for a while, especially as my own daughter hurtles towards her teens. And now I feel a strong urge to offer other women the chance to do the same. When I first floated the idea, it was for mothers of young women, but the response from women without daughters has been too strong to ignore.

So I’m going to be offering TWO new Women’s Circle workshops. This - the first - is for anyone who feels they still have healing to do around this issue, and/or anyone who would like to feel more empowered in relation to their monthly cycle, whether or not they have a monthly bleed and regardless of parental status. This is an opportunity to acknowledge and release any negative connotations you might be carrying around your menarche or monthly cycle, in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental circle of women. You will leave with an understanding of how to tap into the creative power of your cycle in order to become more aligned with your inherent feminine nature.
