ICR1 - Intuitive Card Reading Workshop 1: Single Card Readings

We are born with an inner guidance system (also called 'intuition', or sometimes our 'higher self') which can help in all areas of our lives. There are various ways to access this guidance and some people are naturally able to connect to it with ease - perhaps through meditation or prayer. For many of us, this is more of a gradual process and one that we need to practice and learn to trust - especially if we have been discouraged from using it in the past, or have learned to be afraid of our inner knowing in favour of logical thinking. 

Card reading is a wonderful tool that many people use to help access this inner knowing and to consider things they may not have been (consciously) aware of, as well as looking at things from different perspectives. It can be incredibly helpful as a spiritual development tool, as well as for considering the more mundane, or day-to-day aspects of life. 

This is the first in a series of practical workshops which have been designed to help you feel confident in using a deck of pictorial cards for these purposes. This offering is therefore for anyone who would like to:

• Learn to connect with and trust your intuition
• Interpret cards for any given situation
• Read confidently with any Oracle (or Tarot) deck featuring detailed imagery
• Practice intuitive interpretations in a safe friendly space
• Dive more deeply into one-card readings (without using a guidebook)

This workshop will be held via Zoom over two days and includes

DAY 1: A 2-hour group workshop, with an  exercise to complete overnight, and

DAY 2: A group feedback session of approx 45 mins, to share your experience of the overnight exercise.

This is an interactive workshop and everyone is encouraged to fully participate, so the groups are small and friendly. 

No prior card reading experience is required, but you will need your own deck of Oracle (or Tarot) cards, and a notebook and pen. Tips on card selection will be sent out after registering. The amount of time you spend on the overnight exercise is up to you, but you should allow at least one hour.

This class is a pre-requisite for the other classes in the Intuitive Card Reading Series and the upcoming Practice Group.
